Constructing Infinity is the progressive music project of Alex Quaglieri, based out of Tampa, FL, striving to create emotionally effective, dynamic, heavy music. Alex's philosophy behind the project is "What do I want to hear that made me fall in love with music?”
The first EP, "Stonewall" was written while Alex was at Roger Williams University, living in a building of the same name. Ideas were left over after the disbanding of Water's Edge and needed a home.
After a long hiatus, Endure was released in 2016 after the project moved from its home base in Rhode Island down to Tampa Florida. It featured live drums performed by James Knoerl of Aviations and Brand of Sacrifice.
A series of singles was released in between the first two EPs and in the 2018-2020 time frame. These are the best reflection of the direction the project will take. "Carved in the Trees", for example, features lush piano sound design while weaving in prog chops, including a Holdsworth-esque guitar solo by Thomas Griggs.
Gearing up to release his best work yet, Alex is practicing to bring this project to the stage.
